JUKEBOX MUSIC LTD | CODE OF CONDUCT

At JukeBox, we are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for all students, instructors, parents/guardians and staff. Our code of conduct outlines the expectations we hold for everyone involved in our music programs.

1. Respect and Inclusivity

  • Treat all students, teachers, and staff with respect and kindness.

  • Embrace diversity and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and welcomed.

2. Commitment to Learning

  • Arrive prepared for lessons and classes, bringing necessary materials and a positive attitude.

  • Participate actively and be open to feedback and constructive criticism.

​

3. Punctuality and Attendance

  • Arrive on time for all scheduled lessons and group classes.

  • Notify teachers in advance if you are unable to attend a lesson or will be late, please also see our T&C's for canceling lessons.​

​

4. Practice and Preparation

  • Regularly practice your instrument and engage in assigned exercises to ensure progress.

  • Come to lessons ready to discuss your practice and set goals for improvement.

​

5. Appropriate Behaviour

  • Maintain a supportive and encouraging atmosphere during lessons and group classes.

  • Refrain from disruptive behaviour, such as talking while others are performing or using electronic devices during instruction.

​

6. Safety and Health

  • Follow all safety protocols during in-person lessons and events, including any health guidelines in place.

  • Notify teachers of any allergies, medical conditions, or concerns that may affect participation.

​

7. Respect for Property

  • Treat all instruments, equipment, and facilities with care and respect.

  • Report any damage or issues to teachers immediately.

​

8. Communication

  • Keep open lines of communication with teachers regarding progress, challenges, or any concerns.

  • Parents are encouraged to communicate with teachers to support their child’s musical journey.

​

9. Performance Etiquette

  • Be courteous and respectful to fellow performers during recitals and concerts/events.

  • Show appreciation for everyone’s effort and celebrate collective achievements.

10. Feedback and Improvement

  • Constructive feedback is welcome and encouraged. Share your thoughts on classes and programs to help us improve.

  • Approach feedback from teachers with a positive mindset, focusing on growth and development.

​

11. Confidentiality

  • Respect the privacy of fellow students and their families. Do not share personal information or experiences outside the school community.

​

12. Policy on Harassment and Bullying

  • Harassment or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Any incidents should be reported immediately to a teacher or JukeBox.

13. Commitment to Excellence

  • Strive for excellence in your musical endeavors, while also recognising that growth takes time and practice.
